Natus Vincere

  • Ukraine Vladislav “Crystallize” Krystanek
  • Ukraine Danil “Dendi” Ishutin
  • Ukraine Victor “GeneraL” Nigrini
  • Ukraine Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk
  • Serbia Nikola “LeBronDota” Popovic

Na’Vi’s been throwing some punches in this tournament after winning their match-ups against Team Secret and Virtus.Pro.

Their playstyle is quite a messy act, with players winding up in way too many perilous places while engagements are mostly governed by pure chaos, rather than a cohesive strategy.
Even son, Na’Vi are real fighters and the individual skill of players such as GeneraL, LeBronDota and Dendi has saved the team on more occasions than we can count.

Out of the four matches in this competition, two games were also lost against the teams: Newbee and OG. Taking a look at these match-ups and why they turned out sour for Na’Vi, we can observe Na’Vi inability to break well-organised teams, like the former or hold the fort down enough against more aggressive and coordinated teams, such as OG.

The road ahead for Na’Vi their placing in the Group Stage seems set, if not for one outcome. Only one specific result can push Na’Vi on the brink of elimination, but can they avoid it?

paiN Gaming

  • Brazil William “hFn” Medeiros
  • Romania Aliwi “w33” omar
  • Brazil Otavio “tavo” Gabriel
  • Brazil Danylo “Kingrd” Nascimento
  • Brazil Heitor “Duster” Pereira

paiN Gaming is quite in a tough spot. The South-American squad has only one shot at even starting to survive the Group Stage, but judging by their past performance.. it’s gonna be tough.

paiN Gaming had a rough start in this tournament, after adding Aliwi Omar to their roster, only two weeks before the event. While for many other teams this would be such a major issue, the roster change has put pressure in a team that already feels a bit overwhelmed in the higher ranks.
The SA squad is quite a chaotic lot, but one that still has a long road ahead of itself, if it wants to compete alongside the more prestigious teams.

In the EPICENTER XL Group Stage continuously struggled to take even one game away from their opponents, the one exception being Virtus.Pro (1-2). The SA team, at this moment, at the bottom of their Group and on the very edge of being eliminated.

It’s tough being a paiN fan at this point, but maybe the team can pull out one last Hail Mary before the curtain drops on their act. Let’s see in the match-up discussion and prediction below.
